The Master’s Craftsmen

This group was created as a result of mens fraternity and the need for the great adventure in our lives. What we do is assist elderly adults and needy families in our church and in the community to assist them with home repair projects that they themselves either cannot do or cannot pay to have done but the need is there.

Examples of projects we have completed or are working on:

• We have family in our church that had the need for accessible stairs that could be converted to a handicap ramp in the near future so we built it for them from their home to the driveway.
• Sealing up a single woman’s home who lives in Nelson because the house needed to have holes sealed and windows covered for the winter. Next summer we will put siding on the rear of the house because it almost totally rotted away.
• Spring of 2009 we are conducting a complete home makeover for a family in Munnsville who lives in an 1800’s farm house that is not user-friendly for 7 people.

You do not have to feel that you need a specialty carpenter’s skill. All hands are needed for these projects, come and enjoy the fellowship of men working together sharing Christ’s love to those in need.
